How accurate is the GPS tracking for children?+
The SENTRICK KID™ uses a hybrid GPS + LTE + Wi-Fi positioning system that achieves 3-meter accuracy outdoors and 5–10 meter accuracy indoors. Location updates occur every 10 seconds during movement. This level of accuracy is sufficient to know exactly which street, building, or room your child is in.
Can my child's GPS watch be tracked without them knowing?+
The SENTRICK KID™ is designed with transparency in mind. The watch has a small indicator light that shows when location is being actively checked. This is intentional — we believe children should know they can be located, as this itself acts as a safety deterrent. Parents can view location history at any time through the SENTRICK app.
What happens if my child's GPS watch runs out of battery?+
The SENTRICK KID™ has a 72-hour battery life and sends automatic low battery alerts to parents when the battery drops below 20%. If the battery dies completely, the app shows the last known location and timestamp. The watch also has a power-saving mode that extends battery life to 96 hours.
