1. Information We Collect

We also collect information automatically when you use our Services, including GPS location data from tracking devices, device identifiers, IP addresses, usage data, and sensor readings from SENTRICK hardware devices. Location data is collected continuously while devices are active and subscriptions are maintained.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to: provide, maintain, and improve our Services; process transactions and send related information; send technical notices and support messages; respond to comments and questions; monitor and analyze usage patterns; detect and prevent fraudulent or illegal activity; and comply with legal obligations. Location data is used solely to provide tracking services to authorized account holders and is never sold to third parties.
3. Location Data & Tracking
SENTRICK collects precise GPS location data as the core function of our Services. This data is stored securely and is accessible only to the account holder and authorized users designated by the account holder. We retain location history for the duration specified by your subscription plan. You may delete location history at any time through the SENTRICK app or dashboard. We do not share location data with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide the Services (e.g., mapping providers).
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with: service providers who assist in operating our platform (under strict confidentiality agreements); law enforcement or government authorities when required by law or to protect safety; business partners with your explicit consent; and successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption for data at rest, TLS encryption for data in transit, multi-factor authentication, regular security audits, and access controls limiting employee access to personal data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. Location history retention periods vary by subscription plan (typically 30 days to 1 year). You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes for up to 7 years.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict processing of your data; data portability; and withdraw consent. 8. Children's Privacy
SENTRICK products designed for children (such as SENTRICK KID and SENTRICK BAND) are intended to be purchased and managed by parents or legal guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13. All child-related accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child without parental consent, please contact us immediately.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries as necessary to provide the Services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
