1. Introduction

Anima Technology Sensor & Training Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating under the SENTRICK™ brand, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the SENTRICK™ platform, including our website at sentrickapp.com, mobile applications, hardware devices, and related services (collectively, the "Service").


Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described herein. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Data We Collect

We collect several categories of information to provide and improve the Service:


Account & Identity Information

Name, email address, phone number, billing address, password hash, and profile information you provide during registration or account management.


Location & GPS Data

Real-time GPS coordinates, movement history, speed, altitude, geofence entry/exit events, and location timestamps from SENTRICK™ devices and mobile apps.


Biometric & Health Data

Heart rate, activity levels, sleep patterns, stress indicators, fall detection signals, and behavioral anomaly data processed by the Anima AI engine. This data is used exclusively for safety alert generation and is never sold.


Device & Sensor Data

Device identifier (IMEI/serial), firmware version, battery status, sensor readings (accelerometer, gyroscope), connectivity status, and signal strength.


Child Profile Data

If you create a profile for a minor (a "Child Profile"), we collect the child's name, age range, and any safety parameters you configure. See Section 8 (Children's Privacy – COPPA) for details.


Payment Information

Credit/debit card data is processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We store only a tokenized reference and the last four digits of the card. We never have access to full card numbers.


Usage & Analytics Data

Pages visited, features used, session duration, device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and referral source.


Communications

Messages you send to our support team, feedback submissions, and survey responses.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data for the following purposes:


• **Service Delivery** — Providing real-time location tracking, safety alerts, SOS response notifications, geofencing, and all core SENTRICK™ platform features.


• **AI Processing** — The Anima AI engine processes behavioral, location, and biometric data on-device and in Firebase Cloud to generate safety status classifications under the BSIP™ 5-Color system.


• **Emergency Alerts** — Sending SMS/push notifications via Twilio when a device enters DANGER (red) or SOS (purple) status. This is not a replacement for official emergency services.


• **Account Management** — Account creation, authentication, subscription management, and customer support.


• **Payment Processing** — Billing and subscription management via Stripe, Inc.


• **Platform Improvement** — Aggregate, anonymized analytics to improve AI accuracy, detect bugs, and enhance features.


• **Legal Compliance** — Fulfilling obligations under applicable law, responding to lawful requests from authorities, and enforcing our Terms of Service.


• **Marketing Communications** — Sending product updates, tips, and promotional offers (you may opt out at any time).

4. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as follows:


Service Providers (Sub-Processors)


All sub-processors are bound by Data Processing Agreements and are prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than performing services on our behalf.


Legal Disclosure

We may disclose data to law enforcement or government authorities when required by valid legal process, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.


Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy protections.


With Your Consent

We may share data with third parties when you have given explicit consent.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:


General Rights (All Users)

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

• Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").

• Portability — Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

• Objection — Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

• Restriction — Request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances.

• Withdraw Consent — Withdraw any previously given consent at any time.


California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have additional rights including: the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to opt out of sale of personal information (we do not sell data), the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights, and the right to limit use of sensitive personal information.


EU/EEA/UK Residents (GDPR)

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority. Our legal basis for processing is primarily (a) contract performance, (b) legitimate interests (safety AI), and (c) consent (marketing communications).


To exercise any of these rights, contact us at **alan@sentrickapp.com** with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days (or as required by applicable law).

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specific retention periods:


• **Account Data** — Retained while your account is active, plus 90 days after account deletion to allow for reactivation.

• **Location & Sensor Logs** — 12 months of rolling history by default; configurable to 30, 90, or 365 days in account settings.

• **Biometric/Health Data** — 90 days of rolling history; can be deleted on demand.

• **Child Profile Data** — Deleted immediately upon account deletion or upon a parent/guardian's explicit deletion request.

• **Payment Records** — Retained for 7 years as required by financial and tax regulations.

• **Support Communications** — 3 years from last contact.

• **Anonymized Analytics** — Indefinitely (no longer linked to any individual).

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures including:


• TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit.

• AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest in Firebase.

• Role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data.

• Multi-factor authentication requirements for all internal systems.

• Regular security audits and penetration testing.

• Incident response plan with a 72-hour breach notification commitment (GDPR-compliant).


No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The SENTRICK™ platform is designed to protect children, but the account holder must be an adult (18+). We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international laws.


We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Child Profiles are created and managed exclusively by a verified parent or legal guardian account holder.


Data associated with a Child Profile is:

• Subject to all rights held by the parent/guardian account holder.

• Never used for advertising or third-party profiling.

• Deletable at any time by the parent/guardian by deleting the Child Profile.

• Subject to stricter retention limits (90 days of location history by default).


If you believe a child under 13 has independently created an account without parental consent, contact us immediately at alan@sentrickapp.com and we will delete the account promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

SENTRICK™ is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.


For transfers from the EU/EEA/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, and/or adequacy decisions where applicable, to ensure an appropriate level of protection for your personal data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
