Common Questions
How do I set up my SENTRICK device for the first time?+
Download the SENTRICK Guardian app, tap 'Activate Device', and scan or enter your device serial number. Follow the on-screen setup to assign a protection profile (Child, Elderly, Pet, etc.) and configure your safe zones. The device will sync automatically once connected to WiFi.
How do I manage my subscription plan?+
Open the Guardian app → Settings → Subscription. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle. For billing issues, email alan@sentrickapp.com with your registered email and order number.
How does SOS work?+
Press and hold the SOS button on the device for 3 seconds. The device frame turns PURPLE and an emergency alert is sent to all Guardian contacts simultaneously. Live GPS updates every 5 seconds. If no Guardian responds within 30 seconds, the system auto-escalates. You can also trigger SOS from the Guardian app.
What is BSIP and how do I configure it?+
BSIP (Behavioral Safety Intelligence Platform) is the AI engine that monitors behavioral patterns specific to each profile. In the app, go to a profile → BSIP Settings to select the monitoring mode (Child, Elderly, Epilepsy, Alzheimer, Falcon, Horse, Animal, or Personal). The AI calibrates a behavioral baseline over 24–48 hours before issuing anomaly alerts.
My device is not connecting / showing offline. What do I do?+
1) Ensure the device is charged (LED pulses white when charging). 2) Bring the device within range of a known WiFi network. 3) In the app, go to Device Settings → Reconnect. 4) If still offline, hold the reset button for 8 seconds to restart. If the issue persists, email alan@sentrickapp.com with your device serial number.
How do I add or remove a Guardian contact?+
In the Guardian app, open the profile → Guardian Contacts → Add Contact. Enter their phone number or expail. They'rll receive an invitation to install the app. To remove a contact, swipe left on their name and tap Remove.
Is my data private and encrypted?+
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using 256-bit AESencryption. Location data is never sold to third parties. You can request a full data export or deletion at any time by emailing alan@sentrickapp.com.
What is the device's battery life?+
Up to 7 days on standard monitoring mode. In Survival Mode (minimal GPS pings), battery can last several weeks. Charge using the included wireless Qi pad. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
